Automotive Technology
Do you want to become a skilled
automotive service technician and have the opportunity to work in one of the
best-equipped shops in Missouri? The AMT program at LSTC is one of only a select
few in the country that meets the strict Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
industry standards and provides training under the supervision of competent, ASE
certified instructors. This program fully educates students in the fundamentals
of the automotive trade, so that they can advance rapidly within the industry or
begin businesses for themselves.

Additional Application Requirements:

Submit the complete High
School Attendance Record form signed by your high school counselor.
Transfer students and students who earned GEDs rather than high school
diplomas do not need to submit the high school attendance record form.
- Take a mechanical reasoning test.
Contact the Office of Admissions to schedule your testing appointment.
For priority consideration in the Automotive
Technology program, all of these items must be received by the Office of
Admissions by March 1. Candidates may submit applications after March 1, but those applications will not be given preference.
Applications will be accepted until the program is full.
