This field has a high demand for experienced individuals resulting in high pay. Students who graduate from this program will have attained the basic knowledge and skills of electrical distribution systems including climbing wood pole structures,
build and maintain electrical distribution systems, using safe work practices, administering first aid, and performing pole top rescue. All students become CPR certified and obtain a commercial driver’s license. Graduates of the EDS program are employed in the field with an advanced apprenticeship rating.
