
Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technology
The increasing
sophistication of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems has
initiated the demand for industry to hire employees with technical college
degrees. The HVT program prepares students to install, service, and repair
refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Many job
opportunities exist. Students join the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society

(RSES),
a nationally recognized educational certification agency. RSES training
materials are used in the classroom, and students can become certified in four
RSES areas upon passing the required examinations. Many contractors are RSES
members and seek employees with certification.

Technology program, application items must be received by the Office of
Admissions by
March
1.
Candidates may submit applications after March 1, but those applications will
not be given preference.
Applications will be accepted until the program is
full.
