The Foundation for Linn State Technical College makes it possible for those with the passion and desire to make a difference, to truly make a difference. Be it helping a young person discover their hidden talents or igniting the thirst for knowledge, the Foundation for Linn State Technical College offers support through the generous contributions of others.

Formed in 1983 by friends and supporters of the College as a private nonprofit corporation, the Foundation is dedicated solely to the advancement of Linn State Technical College. It serves the College by helping acquire and manage the private financial contributions, gifts and grants that are so critical to preserving the unique educational experience the College provides. Contributors recognize the important impact of the College. They understand the difference it makes in the lives of   others and the role it plays in providing future economic growth and opportunity.

The Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of dedicated professionals who help manage the many endowments, grants, scholarships and other gifts that are received.  As a 501(C) 3 nonprofit organization, contributions to the Foundation are deductible to the extent allowed by law.   If you wish to donate to Linn State Technical College you may do so by filling out our online form.

Linn State has established the reputation of being able to stretch dollars for maximum efficiency, demonstrating that it is a good steward of public funds and of the private dollars that are invested in its future.

Linn State Technical College is an investment that produces a direct return for Missouri. Ninety-nine percent of students enrolled at Linn State are either residents of Missouri or neighboring states. They are recruited extensively by Missouri-based companies upon graduation.  Graduates of the college produce a return, for every dollar invested, to the communities where they choose to live and work in terms of jobs, quality of life, economic development and the local tax base.

Your gift truly makes an impact. The gap between projected costs for critical projects and anticipated revenue from traditional public sources is broadening. Less than 40% of Linn State’s current revenues come from state appropriations. Like many of this state’s institutions of higher learning, public sources of revenue will not cover the costs associated with expansion and program enhancement at Linn State.
