The Foundation for Linn State Technical College is embarking on a major gifts campaign to support the many needs of the college.  As budgets are tightened, private and individual support is needed now more than ever.  Please consider one or more of the following areas to support.  If you wish to donate to Linn State Technical College you may do so by filling out our online form.

The Activity Center provides the campus an exhibit hall/auditorium as well as student indoor athletic, wellness and recreation facilities. With community access in mind, your gift will enable operation of this important enhancement to the campus and community.

The VAPC will provide adaptive, flexible space to meet the highly specialized lab and classroom requirements for heavy equipment and transportation-related technician programs. Space vacated by programs moving to the VAPC will allow expansion of other existing programs experiencing high occupational demand.  Academic space occupied currently by these facilities in the Automotive Building will be freed to expand the automotive technology program.

The Engineering Technology Center will provide needed facilities for manufacturing and engineering-related technologies. The building provides for expansion of new programs in response to industry demand from emerging engineering-related fields.

Scholarships will be available to help students of diverse populations with great potential and unique ability enroll at Linn State, who, without help cannot afford the cost of attending college. Departments will be given the resources to keep pace with the rapid change in technology. Students and employers will have confidence in knowing graduates possess superior knowledge and skill in their chosen field.  Industry will have a partner in workforce development. Campus expansion will increase enrollment capacity. Students will acquire knowledge and skills valued in the competitive work environment of today’s global economy.
