Central Methodist sets Open House in Linn
Chance to learn more about university programs in region
An opportunity to find out about what Central Methodist University offers through its new agreement with Linn State Technical College will take place Friday, Nov. 18 in Linn.
Area residents can meet with CMU officials Aimee Sage and Deborah Degan-Dixon to learn more about its new programming at LSTC, at no cost or obligation.
The Open House will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and again from 4-6 p.m. outside Main Stream Cafe in LSTC’s Information Technology Center.
The sessions are especially relevant for residents who already hold an associates degree and want to pursue their bachelors in business, or for bachelors degree holders who may want to earn a business degree. But everyone is welcome to come explore the opportunities.
CMU will begin offering two degree completion programs starting in January at LSTC. They are the bachelor of applied science in management or the bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies-entrepreneurship emphasis.
Those unable to attend on Nov. 18 but who are interested in more information about CMU-Linn can call Aimee Sage at 660-248-6651, or e-mail her at email@example.com
Founded in 1854, Central Methodist programs range from undergraduate and graduate studies to high-school dual credit offerings. Serving more than 5,000 students on its historic main campus in Fayette, through collaborative programs at locations across Missouri, and online, the CMU mission emphasizes academic and professional excellence, ethical leadership, and social responsibility.
