Starting the fall semester of 2010 the majority of LSTC transportation programs will have a new home.  

Construction of the Vehicle and Power Center (VaPC) started earlier this year with the anticipated completion of the building prior to the fall of 2010.  

The 84,000 square foot facility will provide adaptive, flexible space to meet the highly specialized lab and classroom requirements for heavy equipment and transportation-related technician programs.

The academic programs moving into the building include Heavy Equipment Technology, Caterpillar Dealer Service Technician Option, Medium/Heavy Truck Technology, Automotive Collision Technology, Powersports Technology and other emerging technologies.
