Over 650 family members and students participated in the fourth annual Linn State Technical College (LSTC) Family Day hosted Friday, September 25, 2009.

LSTC Family Day presented an opportunity for families to visit campus and experience first-hand a “day in the life” of their student. Families attended technical classes, interacted with instructors and heard an overview of the college by President Donald Claycomb.

“Family Day was an exciting day for students and their families.” commented Vicki Schwinke, Dean of Academic and Student Affairs.  “Everyone appeared to enjoy their experience.”  

Students and family members enjoy a free meal, which was advertised as the favorite meal of the college students – chicken strips, corn, mashed potatoes and a biscuit.
