The Counseling Center provides services which promote the health, safety and welfare of students through early intervention for personal and academic issues that affect student achievement and retention.

LSTC Counselors make referrals for:

• Vocational and career concerns-LSTC Career Counseling

• Job Readiness behaviors (Level I)-Dean of Students

• Grief Counseling-Dean of Students

• Academic issues-Academic Resource Center

• Therapeutic interventions – Off-campus agencies for mental health, anger management, and alcohol and other drugs.
